2016 National Scholarship Contest
In 2016 IT Works, Inc. offered a national scholarship essay contest in which students were required to write a 500-700 word essay that explained the importance of sponsored research in respect to one of three areas:
- The advancement of society
- The need for compliance and accountability
- The use of technology to benefit grant management and research administration
The essays were reviewed by the IT Works Scholarship Committee and judged on a combination of factors, including the essay’s style, content, grammar, and originality, as well as the number of social media votes each essay acquired. IT Works received many excellent entries, and it was difficult to choose just one winner.
