Tracking Funding Agency Reporting Deadlines and Requirements

Keeping up with a funding agency’s reporting requirements can be a challenge. And when you have multiple grants, the difficulty of remembering who you spoke with last, what was discussed, and most importantly, knowing when that next Progress Report is due can be daunting. Fortunately for grant administrators, the Department Manager Grant Module includes functionality designed to manage this problem. It reminds you of agency reporting deadlines as well as other interactions with their funding agencies. It allows users to track upcoming report due dates (such as progress reports, financial reports, and final reports), record the date the report was completed, and store a copy of the report in the grant record – i.e., it also acts as an electronic file cabinet. This information can be accessed by individual grant or by groups of grants, such as all grants with final reports due this month. The Grant Module also stores contact information such as address, phone, and e-mail for primary agency contacts, scientific contacts, department level contacts, and contacts with your office of sponsored programs.
