Technical Management Team
James (Jim) H. Wrenn, PhD.
President & CEO
Jim Wrenn is the President and CEO of IT Works, the company he founded in 1987. He has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing financial, human resources, grant, and facility management software systems for colleges, universities, and research hospitals. His forte is finding and implementing solutions to complex problems especially in the areas that require expertise with computer technology and financial management.
Nancy Wylie
CIO
Nancy Wylie is the CIO of IT Works and has over 18 years experience in Information Technology (IT), Software Development, System Integration and Project Management. Her experience includes over 13 years experience with IBM Consulting Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Projects there included managing the implementation of the US Department of Education Grant Administration and Payment System, as well as several with major Government Intelligence Agencies.
Linda Lejnar, MBA, CPA.
Lead Implementation Specialist
Linda Lejnar worked for over 20 years in the University of Maryland System at various institutions and positions including: Business Manager at University of Maryland College Park; Budget Analyst at University of Maryland System Administration; Budget Director and Director of Grants Accounting at University of Baltimore; and Controller and Executive Director of Finance at University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine. Linda is currently involved with financial grant management software implementation and consulting at IT Works.
Kshama Shah
Implementation Specialist
Kshama Shah has earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Mercer University. She has over 10 years experience of training in the accounting and software implementations. Prior to joining IT Works, Kshama has implemented clients including the state government agencies including the states of Vermont, Louisiana, and Washington. In addition, she has fully implemented clients in the mortgage industry including Bank of America, CitiMortgage and SunTrust.
Kevin Aenmey
Chief Software Architect
Kevin Aenmey has been designing and developing software solutions for both small and large organizations since 1998. He has played a key role in the architecture of software systems for a wide range of industries including financial, agriculture, publishing, manufacturing, education and more. As a cum laude graduate of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Kevin started his career in South Africa and immigrated to the United States in 2006.
Ben Clarke
Effort Administrator Development Manager
Ben Clarke has spent the last decade as a Senior Agile developer and coach working on a wide variety of projects with small and large teams. Six of those years were spent at GlaxoSmithKline as an agile coach, mentor and developer specializing in helping teams deliver higher quality software in less time by using proven agile methodologies. Ben has achieved MCSD, MCAD and Certified Scrum Master certifications.
Jennifer Cramsie
Department Manager & College Administrator Development Manager
Jennifer Cramsie received her BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin. She has 15 years experience developing, programming and implementing business specific software applications. Prior to joining the IT Works team she created timeshare sales contract tracking software for Chicago Title and also had a brief stint as the webmaster for Experian.
Kevin Purvis
Software Support Specialist
Kevin Purvis earned his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. He has six plus years of working in quality assurance, software implementation and technical support. Before he came to IT Works, he worked implemented custom interfaces for a company called Clairvia that specialized in creating nurse staffing software for various hospitals around the country as well as being in a rotation that provided 24/7 technical support. He also worked for a company called Residential Management Systems where he was part of the support team that provided support for their software that controlled student housing at universities around the US.
