Grant Management Software
Module is a macro-level research accounting software tool. It
aids in both the pre-award grant management and post-award grant
tracking processes, helping colleges, universities, and clinical
research organizations track and manage their active and pending
grants.
This research accounting software tool manages research
compliance, communication with funding agencies, other research
accounting software support, and effort tracking (including
award sponsored, grant matching, and in-kind gift and endowment
efforts). Our research administration software programs are
designed for organizations that have a significant amount of
grant funding and clinical research projects. IT Works research
accounting software is particularly useful for NCI Cancer
Centers. IT Works research accounting software module provides
detailed research accounting reports, such as other support
pages and Summary Form 2 that are designed for submission to the
NCI as part of an NCI Cancer Center Core Grant.
The Research Accounting Software Module aids in the day-to-day
grant accounting of individual projects. It manages budgets,
encumbrances, and grant management expenditures and provides
both summary and detailed research accounting software reports
designed for administrators, faculty, and research
investigators. The Human Resources Module tracks employees paid
from grants (as well as other funds, e.g. gift funds, trust
funds, and state funds) and their effort on grants.
This research accounting software module also tracks salary
distribution information to allow total salaries and benefits to
be projected and encumbered in the research accounting module
for the budget period of a grant.

Software Module in order to compute amounts of grant funding per
square foot of research space by investigator, division, or
department.
The Facility Management Software Module is used to manage
re-charge research facilities that bill for services. In
addition, our
Online Management system can be used to allow investigators
to access research accounting software reports via the Internet.
