Solutions Offered by IT Works

IT Works delivers "niche" market software products/applications to departments at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. There have been over 175 installations performed since the late 1980s. All development, support, marketing, and sales efforts are handled out of our office in Raleigh, NC. There are two primary products, Department Manager™ and College Administrator™. Both products have the same functionality. College Administrator™ is an enterprise version of Department Manager™.

The primary purposes of these two products are in the areas of grant management and enhanced financial reporting. From a financial reporting perspective, these products are often referred to as "parallel systems", "shadow systems", "middleware", or "data warehouses". They are not general ledger systems, but they are used with general ledger systems such as PeopleSoft, SCT Banner, SAP, Oracle Financials, FRS, FAS, CUFS, and others.
