IT Works Inc. has an immediate need for a .NET C# developer with a minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience through the full system development life cycle (SDLC) with at least 5 years in a .NET environment. This is a senior/lead developer position, which will also involve mentoring and overseeing junior developers.
It is a permanent position in Raleigh, NC just off the I-440 Beltline. IT Works develops software and implements technological solutions to solve problems hindering the advancement and welfare of humanity. Our core values include integrity, honesty, and authenticity.
Job Description
The .NET Software Developer who joins our team will create new modules for our web-based grant application solutions. The work includes designing and building new functionality/enhancements, contributing to the strategy for our future solutions and development of our Department Manager and Effort Administrator product lines. The majority of our development is currently done using .NET 4.0, C#, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience with VB 6 in order to investigate and facilitate the conversion of legacy systems into the .NET environment.

Essential Proficiencies:

Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years software engineering experience including 5 years .Net software development experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent

- Ability to develop new, complex functionality within an existing system with minimal supervision
